According to journalist Ertan Süzgün, Augsburg has offered Alanyaspor 5 million Euros for Ogundu's transfer, plus a percentage of any future sale. The transfer is expected to be completed soon. Ogundu had previously played for Şanlıurfaspor, where he scored 6 goals and provided 2 assists in 19 games. He had joined Alanyaspor in July and signed a 3-year contract. Now, he is set to start a new adventure in the Bundesliga. Şanlıurfaspor's president, Kemal Saraçoğlu, had previously stated that the club had suffered financially due to Ogundu's transfer.
